I just read today that a teaspoon of honey per day fights COVID-19 with 87% efficacy. :)
Do beekeepers have any sway in getting nearby farmers to adhere to best practices or is it just simply asking them to do it?
I'm just a hobby-level beekeeper (2 hives) … will this information have any procedures I can implement to reduce the impact of corn & soy growing pesticides? I'm just skeptical of how much I'd have influence since I'm really a small time beekeeper.

Appears that V mites are everywhere and likely part of my nucs that Im receiving next month. Can I be proactive by treating for the mites without surveying the number of mites per 100 bees?
What exactly is a Master-Level beekeeper? Is it an equivalent of a Masters degree?

In Georgia there's a lot of service involved as much as serious knowledge and testing.
I am in the Cornell program it is a lot of work but is not a degree program its a certificate
